St Peter’s Hospice Community Hub

We are excited to have launched the first Hospice Community Hub on Monday 22nd September at The Beehive Community Centre, Whitehall. This new service is open to adults (18yrs+) living with a life-limiting illness, as well as their families and carers.

No referral is needed to access this service. It is part of our lighter touch services that provide less clinically intense input – please note there will be no registered healthcare professionals at the Hub so please note that no symptom control/clinical advice will be given. The Hub offers emotional support, practical advice, and uplifting wellbeing activities – from creative workshops like crafting, to simply sharing a cup of tea and a quiet moment with someone who understands.

The hub will be run by our Therapy or Social work Assistants, and hospice volunteers. At the heart of it all is connection – a safe, welcoming space to meet others navigating similar experiences, and to find strength in shared understanding.

You can of course continue to refer to our clinical services, such as the Living Well Programme Living Well Programme
