Debbie Penney
Business manager
Debbie joined the practice in July 2018. As a Business manager Debbie is responsible for coordinating all aspects of practice functionality, motivating and managing staff, optimising efficiency and financial performance, ensuring the practice achieves its long-term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment.
Through innovative ways of working, lead the team in promoting equality diversity and inclusion, safe health environment and fire, quality & continuous improvement, confidentiality, collaborative working, service delivery, learning and development and ensure the practice complies with CQC regulations.
Emma Mills
Clinical effectiveness manager and HR support
Emma Joined the practice in 2005 and has held various roles. Emma is currently accountable for the efficient management of our associate clinical roles I.T, finance/business support, secretary/admin teams, ensuring all duties are performed effectively and to the required standard.
Emma also manages clinical interfaces ensuring robust systems are in place by monitoring effectiveness, supporting the business in all areas of quality improvement, confidentiality, collaborative working, service delivery, learning and development as well as carrying out other duties as directed by the business manager.
Abby Perrott
Operations manager, patient experience
Abby joined the practice in April 2009. Abby is responsible for the efficient management of premises facilities management, including all aspects of health and safety, in addition to deputising for the patient experience manager.
Abby supports the business in quality improvement, confidentiality, collaborative working, service delivery, learning and development and carries out other duties as directed by the management team. She is supported by the deputy patient experience manager Olly.
Katie Sayer
Business & IT support
Katie works alongside the management team to ensure all projects and aspects of Information technology runs smoothly.
Patient care team
We have a team of administrators who have been specially trained to deal with your enquiries. They provide extremely important links with the doctors and also with hospitals, solicitors, insurance companies, employers and many other health care organisations.
They are actively involved in ensuring patients receive an efficient, integrated service between primary and secondary care.
Prescriptions team
Our prescriptions team is made up of a small team of specifically trained prescription administrators.
The team deal with the majority of prescription queries, liaising with GPs and practice pharmacists.
Hozefa Master
Practice pharmacist
Holds an MPharm degree from the University of Bradford, a clinical diploma in Pharmacy and an independent prescribing qualification. Hozefa has 8 years of experience as a dedicated pharmacist with four years in clinical practice. He has also completed the CPPE Primary care pathway for pharmacists, which equips him with specialised knowledge and skills for providing comprehensive care in a primary setting.
Reception team / health navigators
We have a large dedicated team of well trained and skilled receptionist/health navigators who provide patients with a friendly and efficient service. The team will ask you a little bit about your situation in order to assist you finding the most appropriate help you may need, this is to assist the doctor to assess your needs.
Nurse administrators
Our nurse administrators are valuable members of the nursing team and maintains the practice clinical recall system for our long term condition clinics to ensure patients attend for their annual reviews as well as coding and entering data, and ensuring an excellent standard of patient records.
